THOROUGHBREDS

Hawkesbury: Race 5; #2 Oakfield Hawk

Looks a very open race and for that, I have OAKFIELD HAWK a little bit further out in price than where he is right now. He comes up against a couple of handy ones including WAGGA WAGGA & SILENT RUSSIAN. But one of the real queries on OAKFIELD HAWK is his fresh form, he has no wins or placings 1st or 2nd up and is 2nd up here today. Expecting he has a little bit of improvement to come and worth following out of the race.

Mackay: Race 7; #4 Mighty Judd

He was a good winner at Rocky last start, but he needed every bit of the Callaghan Park straight to get the job done. He maps awkwardly here, and the small track might not be to his liking, happy to be against.

GREYHOUNDS

Sandown Park: Race 1; #4 Spritely Sian

Spritely Sian looks the likely leader but she was suited to the Ballarat track and distance and not so much this venue. I expect her to be paddling late and the likes of Lethal Sniper and Paw Lauren will be thundering home in the closing stages.

Sandown Park: Race 6; #1 Sunnyside Jo

Sunnyside Jo is as honest as they come but there is a ton of class and pressure in this. I can see her getting crossed early and she could get jammed up on the fence and lose momentum.

Sandown Park: Race 7; #4 Bagman

Bagman has been a great improver in recent months but from a squeeze draw in a hot race like this I just can't see him getting a clear lead. Even if he did find the front mid race he may have made a lot of effort in doing so and that will take a toll late.

HARNESS

Penrith: Race 3; #2 Kates Virtue

Kates Virtue was a comfortable winner last week when able to find the front. Cant see her leading tonight and rises considerably in grade. Would be surprised if Denny Rocks or Maurlen Boy dont win.
