Kembla Grange: Race 1; #4 Major Look
Happy to Lay Major Look in this maiden race at Kembla. Major Look's last start was at Newcastle over the 1400m on the 29th June. I thought in this race it had every possibility to break his maiden from where he settled in the run. On my figures they have travelled 17.9L slow to the 600m. I would say it would need to improve on last start to be winning this event.
Caulfield: Race 2; #10 Comanche Miss
Comanche Miss has jumped out really well but she would need to be sharp for this from the inside draw against talented, race fit opposition, I'll oppose her at the price.
Randwick: Race 7; #4 Fleetwood
Feels a bit tough to be taking FLEETWOOD on in this race after his good effort in a strong race last start. But I am against him at the short price on this track and the expected conditions. We are expecting that the track will favor runners who settle up on the speed and FLEETWOOD looks likely to be out the back and doing his best work late. While it isn't a big field, he will be giving a head start to some handy runners and if those runners have a track advantage he may be vulnerable.
