Potentially a high pressure race and that give a small concern for current race favourite ROYAL PATRONAGE who likes to push forwards of midfield but he does have a very wide barrier to deal with early. He may need some luck early or at least the right race shape so that others with speed don't kick up underneath him and force him to do some extra work early. The race map is the concern, as he sits now as the current favourite I am happy to risk him given those issues.
Newcastle: Race 5; #6 Super Zippi
Happy to be against SUPER ZIPPI in this open 900m Dash. SUPER ZIPPI is first up from a 157 day spell with 2 lead in trials. While the trials were above par I thought against some decent city class horses the reasoning I am against is it's poor first-up record.
