A bumber ten-race card awaits us at Doomben this weekend.
With all the focus on Melbourne and Sydney this weekend, Doomben puts their hand up with the running of the $160,000 Listed U&U Recruitment Keith Noud and we've landed on a couple earlier in the card.
Our best bet of the day comes up in race six. You'd love to own a stable full of gallopers like Taltarni Fields who is yet to miss a drum in seven career outings including a victory over Saturday's track and trip when resuming.
Hoop Cejay Graham has remarkably been on board every time this son of Deep Field has saddled up, including trials, and she is building up a strong association with the four-year-old gelding. He was dominant winning here a fortnight back and will strip fitter for that hit-out. Only needs some luck from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the outcome.
The babies kick off the card in race one, with it looking to be a race in three. Canoodling just ran into one better at Doomben on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that day at the races. The only dangers appear to be Secret Sort and first-starter Mr Democrat who has shown ability at the trials. The other runners with exposed form seem limited.
