Early Mail and best exotic plays for Randwick on November 7. .

RANDWICK SATURDAY

RACE 2 (7) HAURAKI: The Godolphin team is really starting to fire up for John O’Shea and this lightly-raced colt by Reset appeals as one of their up and comers after an impressive debut win at Kembla Grange. Strongly fancied on the day after two good trials, Hauraki came from off the pace in fast closing sectional time to score over 1400m in the style of a horse who should have no trouble graduating to city company. He should find the pattern of this race to his liking as there is good speed in the field to suit the run on horses.

RACE 6: (6) PEACE FORCE: Has performed strongly in all three runs this prep including a solid Warwick farm win over 1400m two starts back before toughing it out gamely after a hard run for a game third over 1400m at Rosehill on October 25. He’s going to appreciate a sighnifi8cant 4.5kg drop in weight form his last start with the benefit an apprentice’s claim and should enjoy a softer run on the pace. Good value in an open race.

RACE 8 (15) CENTRE PIVOT: Promising 4YO came off two strong trials for a luckless first-up fourth over 1250m at Canterbury when he ran into roadblocks several times over the last 400m, going to the line untested. Showed plenty in his first prep up to 1600m and should really appreciate this trip second up on the bigger track with the rails draw giving him a soft run. Comes from a stable striking well when their horses are fancied in the betting.
