Co-trainer David Eustace is confident last-start Redelva Stakes (Listed, 1100m) can run well in the Robert Sangster Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

The filly has won three of her 13 starts and finally cracked it for a stakes' race victory at Morphettville last time, winning the Redelva Stakes on April 17.

Along the way, Muntaseera finished second in a Blue Diamond Prelude (F) (Gr 2, 1100m) last year and fifth in the Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200,) as a two-year-old, while last spring, after a victory over 1000 metres at Caulfield, she finished third in the Thoroughbred Club Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m)

Bigger things were expected this campaign, but races did not pan out right with Muntaseera finishing fourth first-up against older horses in the Bob Hoysted Handicap (Listed, 1000m) at Flemington before running third at The Valley over 1200 metres last month.

"We were confident of her having a really good preparation but she hadn't won up until that last start, not through anyone's fault, or her fault, but she showed her class last time," Eustace said.

"Now that she has broken through, I think she is up to running well in a race like this.

"Funnily enough, I think that helped the other day. She likes a bit of cover which enables her to quicken up."
