Champion racemare Treve (Motivator) - whose six elite level victories included two Prix de l'Arc de Triomphes (Gr 1, 2400m) - opened her account as a broodmare when her first foal Qous (3 c Dubawi - Treve by Motivator) broke his maiden in the Prix du Mont Alta (2100m)  at Chantilly on Friday.

Raced and bred by Al Shaqab Racing - the same operation that owned and bred his brilliant mother - and trained by Andre Fabre the colt finished fifth on debut last month and he prevailed in a close finish on Friday to beat L'Aigle (Gleneagles) by a short-neck with the same distance back to Edge Of Victory (Kingman) in third.

Bred by Haras du Quesnay, Treve herself is out of winning Anabaa (Danzig) mare Trevise and is a half-sister Listed Trois Rois (Hernando) and stakes-placed Trophee (Mr Sidney).

Further back this is the same family of Listed scorer Tsigane (Anabaa) - who was also Grade 1-placed and fellow Listed winner Thunder Teddington (Halling).

In 2018 produced a filly by Arrowfield Stud shuttler Shalaa (Invincible Spirit) - who is now named Paris and has yet to hit the race track and in 2019 she produced filly by Siyouni (Pivotal). The daughter of Motivator (Montjeu) was among Juddmonte Farms’ Kingman (Invincible Spirit) 2020 book.
