Flirting, Zing and Miss Albania among headline lots in latest Inglis Digital catalogue
Multiple Group-winner Flirtini (Artie Schiller) and stakes placed race mares including Zing (Zoustar), Anagain (Hinchinbrook) and Miss Albania (Magnus) are among the headline acts of the Inglis Digital July (Late) Online Sale.
A catalogue of 405 has been finalised for the auction, comprising 149 broodmares, 97 race fillies, 78 racehorses, 32 racehorse shares, 31 weanlings, 17 yearlings and one stallion.
Flirtini is a Group winner who is being offered as a breeding prospect, while Zing finished a close-up second in the Group 3 Pam O'Neill Stakes (1600m) at Doomben at her most recent start a fortnight ago and the Chris Waller-trained five-year-old is entered to race at Doomben on Saturday.
Anagain is a lightly raced three-year-old who finished second behind three-time Group 1 placegetter Paulele (Dawn Approach) in the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes (1100m) at just her second start as a two-year-old.
From the family of outstanding galloper Eremein (Timber Country), Anagain last raced three weeks ago and is offered as a racing and breeding prospect.
And Miss Albania – also offered as a racing and breeding proposition – owns some strong form, including when beating the high-class Oxley Road (Exceed And Excel) over 1100 metres at Flemington and when placing in the Listed Norman Carlyon (1000m) at Moonee Valley.
"It's quite an extraordinary statistic, that almost one in six Australian races this season have been won by our Inglis Digital graduates, a stunning leap forward from the 1 in 9 races of last season which was incredible enough in itself,'' Inglis Digital's Business Manager Nick Melmeth said.
"It further highlights how strong the platform has become in terms of quality being offered by the vendors, which in turn ensures each and every sale becomes unmissable for buyers because the winners just continue to flow and they can't afford to miss out.''
The final countdown of bidding for the July (Late) Sale will begin from midday Wednesday.
