US champion Medaglia d'Oro reached two milestones as a sire at Saratoga in New York on September 2.
His 3YO filly Elusive Pearl (Medaglia d'Oro - Brazen Bride by Miswaki) became his 50th US stakeswinner and 400th race win worldwide with a Listed race success.
Medaglia d'Oro's oldest progeny are now five year-olds and include seven G1 winners including US Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra and Kentucky Oaks winner Plum Pretty.
He has also sired the winners of eight stakes races in Canada, France, Great Britain and Zimbabwe.
Overall his record is 159 winners of 400 races at 59% strike-rate.
Medaglia d'Oro will cover So You Think's dam Triassic in Australia this spring along with G1 winners Jessicabeel, Miss Margaret, Miss Victory, Regal Cheer, Sleek Chassis as well as the dams of G1 winners Roman Emperor, Star Witness, Skilled and No Wine No Song.
