Sea The Sparkle (Race 1) opened at a double figure quote but good support has seen her shorten five points to $6 in early betting. The Darren Weir-trained mare is unbeaten in two runs so far and although she steps up in grade the punters are looking for her to continue on her winning way.

Murt The Flirt (Race 3) is another to start at a double figure quote but he is now into outright favourite at $4.60 after firming more than six points. He was a last start winner at Caulfield over today’s journey and should be at peak fitness third up.

Clearly Innocent (Race 6) has caught the eye in two runs this campaign and the punters believe this is the right race for him to peak third up and out to 1400m. He won five races in a row to finish his last campaign and gets his chance to return to winning form, firming three points since markets opened to challenge for the top of the market at $4.

Terravista (Race 7) is a top class sprinter at his best and punters are looking for him to produce that kind of form today off a recent barrier trial win. A winner of the Darley Classic down the straight two years ago, he is in a much easier race this year and has firmed 40 cents as a clear second pick at $2.80.
