The Money Trail – Bendigo, November 9

3 minute read

Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting for Wednesday’s meeting at Bendigo.

Sassoon (Race 2) could be worth an each way ticket at $6.50 after halving his opening quote. The Snippetson make his debut after placing in a recent barrier trial and the money suggests a bold run is expected first up.

Her Command (Race 3) is challenging for favouritism at $3.90 after firming 60 cents this morning. The filly resumes today but has placed fresh before and ran a string of second placings when last in work.

Rakti Roulette (Race 4) is a well-supported favourite at $2.45, half a point shorter than his initial quote. The Darren Weir-trained gelding was dominant is scoring by almost 4L last start and the punters are confident he can do the same today.

Oriental Ruler (Race 6) has almost halved his opening quote to $6.50 so represents good each way value. He has worked home well in both starts this campaign so should be suited by the extra 200m and looks ready to peak third up.

Danuki (Race 8) has firmed three points in early betting to $4.60 with TopBetta fixed odds. He has been consistent of late with top four finishes at his last three starts and gets the right run from gate one.
