Deal Master (Race 1) has been a go at longer odds in the day’s opener, firming in almost 10 points to $8. The Corstens-trained three-year-old resumes after showing promise at his maiden campaign for a debut win at Pakenham before running fourth at his only start in the Listed McKenzie Stakes.

Chateau Cheval (Race 3) has taken over as favourite at $3.50, more than a point shorter than her opening price. The Hayes-Dabernig mare has been runner up at both starts this campaign and should be ready to peak third up.

Stormsabrewing (Race 4) opened at double figures odds but has more than halved that quote to $4.80. The mare has run on well at both of her starts since a spell and should be at her best stepping up to the mile.

Skulduggery (Race 8) was favourite at each way odds when betting commenced but has only tightened his grip on the market since at $3.40 having shortened more than a point and a half. He is racing well with two wins and a second from his last three starts and hit the line hard to win at Caulfield last time.
