Ready For Success (Race 1) is a warm favourite at $2.05 having tightened 75 cents in early betting. He drops in grade on his last run at Rosehill behind subsequent stakes winner Dawn Wall and had consistent from at the provincials before that.

Zeppelin (Race 3) has tightened his grip on the market at $2.15, more than a point shorter than his opening quote. The well-bred colt wasn’t far away on debut at the city midweeks and the punters are expecting improvement second up at the provincials.

Noble Truth (Race 4) is second pick in the market at $3.20 having tightened more than a point. The lightly-raced gelding is improving with experience and has been placed at his last two outings at Hawkesbury.

Senorita De Vega (Race 5) opened at double figures but has more than halved her initial price to $5 so represents a good each way gamble. The Lope De Vega mare is on debut for Jason Attard and while she hasn’t placed at either trial the market push must be respected.

Daytime Dancer (Race 6) could be worth an each way ticket at $5, which is half her opening price. She should be ready to peak third up and got close last time when a close second to the well-performed Smart Amelia at Canberra.

Happy Clapper (Race 8) has taken over as favourite at $2.90 in the Newcastle Newmarket after shortening a point-and-a-half. He hit the line hard under a big weight for second when resuming in the National Sprint at Canberra and has won twice second up before.
