So Splendid (Race 3) is another that is now into the red at $1.90 having firmed in 70 cents since markets opened. The filly hasn’t been worse than fourth in her five runs this time in including a Newcastle maiden win two starts back.Emperor's Way (Race 4) is another odds-on pop with his $1.85 quote about 40 cents shorter than his initial price. He was just over a length away in town last start and looks well placed third up at the provincials.
