Peter Snowden looks set to continue his good form with several chances at Warwick Farm today, including last start winner Chiaroscuro.

The lightly raced five-year-old gelding will line up in the Terry’s Plumbing Benchmark 75 Handicap (1200m) as he looks to claim his fourth win from only six career starts.

Snowden and Jockey Kerrin McEvoy combined for four wins from eight races at Randwick last Saturday and should continue the good run into today.

Chiaroscuro showed good form last preparation, sent for a spell after running a narrow fourth behind Petrify in a handy race at Hawkesbury before resuming with a good win at Canterbury last start.

The son of Lonhro rates well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and from barrier 8 should be able to find a good spot in running.

Chiaroscura has not finished more than 1.4L away in any of his career starts to date and is likely to have come on since his first up run.

Stablemate Fringed was able to control the tempo and make all at Canterbury last start and backs up quickly into this.

Should be around peak fitness at this stage of his campaign and looks the biggest danger to Chiaroscuro.

Likely to not be far away again from barrier 5 with Hugh Bowman in the saddle and expect him to be fighting out the finish.

Rastro has always promised so much in his career so far but has not quite lived up to expectations.

The Chris Waller-trained runner has won the two races from 18 starts but has placed a further eight times.

Resuming with a win at Randwick, Rastro has been only moderate up in class his last two outings but finds himself taking on easier today.

Drawn well in barrier 2 and has shown enough to suggest he is right up to competing in a race like this.

Nash Rawiller goes back on board and is definitely one to keep safe in this company.

Outside of these there appears to be a handful of each way chances including General Sherman who has been good in both runs this time in.

Did a log wrong and was still only 2L away at Canterbury last start and finished last preparation well with two wins in easier company.

The Guy Walter-trained Zauberflote also rates a mention here first up despite not placing in three runs last campaign. Generally goes well fresh and can run into the placings here along with Bazinga who goes up in grade after winning his last two.
