Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Bathurst, Murwillumbah and Kilmore.

BATHURST: RACE 3 @ 3:15 PM

PERFUMIST (7) returns. She was a smart debut winner back in April but not as effective at start two when tackling a Heavy surface. Strips fitter for two lead-up trials and will appreciate reuniting with winning hoop in Morgan. Is from a smart stable and is expected to take plenty of stitching. NEGATION (5) came from a long way back to just miss when resuming over the 900m at Scone. Should have come on nicely from that hitout and will eat up the extra 200m from a kinder draw. Great chance to break a long run of outs. SNITZAROO (1) only just missed when resuming at Nowra. Hasn't quite been able to go on with it in his last two but finds a nice race to get things back on track. BLACK ALEXANDRA (3) doesn't win out of turn but is knocking on the door and is worth some thought.
SELECTIONS: Perfumist to win.

MURWILLUMBAH: RACE 3 @ 2:55 PM

LOCKUP THE KITTENS (7) back in grade and on the quick backup after attacking the line late when fifth over 1000m at Ballina in BM66 company on October 6. Well drawn again and looking for this trip. Hard to hold out. BOLD HOI HO (2) dynamite fresh gelding resuming with a slick 1000m trial win. Handles all conditions and will relish the 1.5kg claim. Primed for this. FIRE KIRIN (3) sharp improver second up when a gritty head winner over 1000m at Tabulam on October 5. Handles the sting out of the ground and not without each-way prospects. CHILLING (4) resumes after coming to the end of his prep when a poor ninth over 1205m at Tuncurry on August 9. Better placed over the shorter trip and the 2kg claim is a bonus.
SELECTIONS: Lockup The Kittens to win.

KILMORE: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

IPHIMEDIA (1) has been competitive without winning of late, the latest effort a closing fifth over 1000m at Cranbourne. Tackling her easiest race for a considerable time and the extra 100m looks ideal. Draws a little better today and is clearly the one to beat despite a big weight. ZETALYN (11) collected her maiden at Benalla two back then was outclassed at Flemington last time in a strong BM64. Nicely placed to turn things around. MEG'S MAGIC (8) went back from a wide alley and was never a factor when resuming over 1200m at Cranbourne recently. Strips fitter and is down in class so a much better run looks on the cards. Consistent mare GHIDI (12) finds it hard to win but she is a sound each-way hope based on recent efforts. SPORTS CHOICE (10) returned in good order at Tatura last start and cannot be left out of calculations.
SELECTIONS: Backing Iphimedia.
