Purton will be making his second appearance in this JRA series after making his winning debut in 2012. On the first day on Saturday, 29 November, he will partner three-year-old filly Sundarbans in the first leg, the 2014 Excellent Jockeys Trophy (turf 1600m), while his mount in the second leg, the 2014 Fantastic Jockeys Trophy (turf 1400m) is seven-year-old horse Hungry Jack.
On day two (Sunday, 30 November) Purton will ride three-year-old colt Salire Mondo in the third leg, the 2014 Marvelous Jockeys Trophy (dirt 1600m), and for the series’ last leg, the 2014 Prominent Jockeys Trophy (turf 2000m), he will be aboard the six-year-old horse Smart Liberty.
