The three South Korean horses taking part in next week’s Korea Racing Authority Trophy (1200m) have all arrived in good shape in Singapore on Friday morning.

After landing on time at 3.35am from Incheon, Parang Juuibo, Always Winner and Triple Five were met by the Singapore Turf Club’s veterinary department team and a representative from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) at Changi Airport before they were floated to their new quarters at Kranji’s International Stables where they will gear up towards the $250,000 race on July 24.

STC veterinarian Dr Brenda Low said the trio travelled without a hitch and have settled in quickly at their temporary abode in Singapore.

“They’re all good, they all travelled very well and were hardly sweating at their arrival at the Club, even if one of them was a little excited when he got off, but he quickly settled down,” said Dr Low.

“The three grooms didn’t report any problem before or during the flight. The horses have been given their hay already and they are drinking water as well.

“Parang Juuibo even rolled in his box once he got there. He sure was very contented, but they all look happy and in good condition.”
