Hugo Palmer revealed on Tuesday that Seagulls Eleven will likely have one more crack at Group 1 company this season before being lined up for a tilt at the 2000 Guineas next year. The son of Galileo Gold, who Palmer trained to 2000 Guineas and St James's Palace success in 2016, finished a highly-creditable third behind Scorthy Champ in the National Stakes at the Curragh last weekend. Palmer outlined the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, the Dewhurst Stakes and the Breeders' Cup as all possible targets.

Alan King's popular stayer Trueshan looks set for a trip to France in a bid to claim a third success in the Prix du Cadran. Trueshan was no match for Sweet William in his defence of the Doncaster Cup on the Town Moor last Friday but remains on course to protect his Prix du Cadran crown at Longchamp on Arc weekend.

Connections of Live In The Dream have said that he will not race again this season. Adam West's 2023 Nunthorpe Stakes hero was withdrawn on the day he was set to defend his crown last month due to a foot injury. A statement by owners Steve and Jolene De'Lemos on X said: "We have received back Live In The Dreams' MRI results and unfortunately, they are not as good as we'd hoped for. As a result of this, he will not participate in the rest of the season, and we will aim to get him back and ready for next year."

The Simon and Ed Crisford-trained Quddwah is being targeted at the Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp on Arc day. The progressive son of Kingman impressed when victorious in the Group 2 Summer Mile Stakes before acquitting himself well behind Charyn in the Group 1 Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.

The Racing Post revealed that City Of Troy's Breeders' Cup Classic bid at Del Mar on November 2 will not be televised on ITV. The terrestrial channel will not show the fixture this year due to the meeting clashing with existing contracted programming across ITV's channels.
