Sprint ace Moviesta is on the fast track to the top and trainer Bryan Smart reports him to be in good form as he prepares the three-year-old for the Group 1 Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York on August 23.
Owned by Queen Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp in partnership with Will Salthouse and Ritchie Fiddes, Moviesta has been one of the season's major success stories.
The winner of three races already this season, including an impressive success in the Group 2 King George Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, Moviesta is set to face his toughest test yet at York.
Smart said: "Moviesta has come out of the Goodwood race in good order. He will be going for the Coolmore Nunthorpe, all being well.
"He is a three-year-old against older horses at York but he did it well at Goodwood. A repeat would be fantastic.
"He is already a winner at York and was also second there, so he seems to like the track. We are looking forward to it."
Smart also reported that Moviesta's famous part-owner might be on the Knavesmire.
He added: "Harry has been a very loyal owner for a long time - it is nice to have a good one for him.
"Hopefully, he will be able to make York with a bit of luck. It would be nice for him to come up and see the horse - he's never seen him run yet."
