Postponed (Roger Varian) headlines 10 horses on course for the £400,000 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Cup (Sponsored by Investec) (3.10pm) which is also run over a mile and a half at Epsom Downs on Investec Derby Day, Saturday, June 4.

Successful in last season's King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot, the five-year-old horse has won both his starts this year at Meydan, Dubai, most recently taking the Group One Dubai Sheema Classic on May 26.

Three four-year-old fillies could prove to be the strongest challengers, with Simple Verse (Ralph Beckett), Found (Aidan O'Brien) and Arabian Queen (David Elsworth) all going forward.

Simple Verse landed the 2015 Ladbrokes St Leger before ending the year with another Group One success in the QIPCO British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes. Arabian Queen and Found are the only two horses to have defeated last year's Investec Derby winner Golden Horn, with Arabian Queen coming out on top in the Juddmonte International and Found in the Breeders' Cup Turf.

Silvestre de Sousa, who will ride Arabian Queen again, remarked: "She is in great form.

"Arabian Queen ran well on her return at Newmarket, just needing the run. I would say she has come on a bit for the race.

"She has got plenty of speed but she should get the mile and a half no problem. There are a lot of classy horses in the race, but she is classy too."
