Trainer Bob Baffert worked three of his talented sophomores this morning at Santa Anita, all of whom are possible for the Grade 2 San Felipe on Saturday.
Coach Prime and Imagination, a pair of Baffert charges, worked the joint-fastest six furlongs at Santa Anita. They covered the distance in 1:12.8. Coash Prime most recently finished third behind Wynstock in the Los Alamitos Futurity (G2), and Imagination was last seen finishing second by a neck to Maymun in an allowance on Feb. 11. Wynstock, who finished 11th in the Southwest (G3) in his only start since the Los Alamitos Futurity, also posted a sharp four-furlong drill Monday.
Baffert's fourth horse possible for the San Felipe, the last-out maiden winner Cornell, worked Sunday.

Catmansue (Cat Burglar) worked four furlongs in 48.8 seconds at Santa Anita on Monday morning. It was the 30th fastest of 59 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed second in an allowance race going six furlongs on the turf at Santa Anita on Feb. 17 for trainer Jeff Mullins.
Coach Prime (Quality Road) worked six furlongs in 1:12.8 at Santa Anita on Monday morning. It was the fastest of three works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going five furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he placed third in the Los Alamitos Futurity (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Los Alamitos on Dec. 16 for trainer Bob Baffert.
Imagination (Into Mischief) worked six furlongs in 1:12.8 at Santa Anita on Monday morning. It was the fastest of three works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed second in an allowance race going one mile on the main track at Santa Anita on Feb. 11 for trainer Bob Baffert.
Wynstock (Solomini), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Los Alamitos Futurity), worked four furlongs in 47.4 seconds at Santa Anita on Monday morning. It was the second fastest of 59 works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he placed 11th in the Southwest (G3) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Oaklawn on Feb. 3 for trainer Bob Baffert.
