On paper it should have been easy but Entrapment, the hot favourite for the Premier Bowl at Sha Tin on Sunday, found it to be otherwise.
He found himself stuck at the 200m stage and got blocked in every direction. It can happen, and while he
was trying to find a way through stablemate Rich Unicorn came storming down the outside and took themoney. Little Bridge ran second by a nose and Entrapment 1/2 length back third. Joy and Fun fourth.
Earlier Smart Giant looked a very smart horse indeed as he stormed away to a 3 1/4 lengths win over
Jamesina and Beauty Touch in the 4th race over 1800m. The winner looks like he could have some kindof future.
And finally in Race 10 the handsome grey California Memory showed he's really back with a top win over
Xtension, Thumbs Up and Able One.News from Melbourne is that Bear Hero lost a shoe at the start of the race and injured his foot in the
process. Such a shame.
