It's a busy time at Sha Tin

3 minute read

With media pouring in from all over the world and 34 runners from 9 different countries there was plenty to see and do this morning at Sha Tin.

We started off with Rocket Man on the turf with race jockey Barend Vorster riding - looked pretty good to

us although there are some doubters here. The Sprint will be competitive with the locals very keen on the

chances of Little Bridge. Jimmy Choux and Sole Power also worked on the turf - also in the Sprint, while

the Japanese contenders Curran Chan and Pas de Trois had a breeze on the AWT with Apapane, who

looked particularly good. Curran Chan, who beat Rocket Man in the Sprinter Stakes in Japan, looks a

nice horse too.

Dunaden did a fast piece of work yesterday with Craig Williams riding, while this morning it was a more

leisurely outing. Trailblazer from Japan just needs to have a light workout as he's coming straight from

the Japan Cup. Sahpresa who ran third in the Kyoto Mile recently also just did a light stretch in company

with a mate, a nice grey horse who is a "best friend and companion".

Campanologist, the Godolphin runner, was just on the trotting ring this morning and did not appear on the

track.
