The Open Benchmark 97 on Sunday had a good field and out of that Dittatore reigned supreme after finding a gap to squeeze through in the straight.
Dittatore finished 2 1/2 lengths in front of Excavator with Ten Ten Lai third - those two had led for the
second half of the race - and Collect the Cash running on well for fourth. Arowana Dot Com was favouriteand disappointed - he'll benefit from the run but was expected to do better fresh.
On Friday night the feature went to Joyful Heart Man over South Easter with Powerful Blitz, who didn't get
too much luck in the running, third, and a good run from Superczar to finish fourth.
