Hana's Gold is owner by Australian but Japan based Michael Tabar. This will be a tough assignment for as although the race is for 3yos all the rest are males. They include Alfredo who was male 2yo of the year in 2011, Olivine and Clarente who have been racing well recently.

That is in Tokyo. In Kyoto on Saturday it's the Kyoto Shimbun Hai for 3yos over 2200m. Craig Williams rides Tosen Homareboshi, a Deep Impact colt trained by Yasutoshi Ikee. Extra End has Yasunari Iwata riding with that Deep Impact colt being trained by Katsuhiko Sumii, Rulership's trainer.

There are 4 other Deep Impact colts in the race, and two each by Daiwa Major and Symboli Kris S.
