RACE 1: Class 5 - 1400m (Course D SC)

Tricky race to kick off proceedings. His My Idol (2) is a recent class dropper and just missed last time. Back to the 1400m here suits and he should go close. Win Lots (6) was a winner at the trip three starts back and in fact is in great form. He'll give another bold sight while Look At Me (12) received compensation for his consistency with a solid win last time and must again be considered. Excellent Beauty (7) has been close up at her past two outings and is sure to make a bold bid.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 2: Initiation - 1200m (Polytrack)

Another tricky affair. Calombaris (3) was sent out a short quote on debut and bumped into Popi Popi which has since scored again. Has since been sent back to the trials, recording two wins and a third. Should run well. Yin Xin (9) has led and been run down late at two starts to date. Should be in this for a long way while Monte Cristo (12) is making his debut but has trialled well and with no weight should make a bold bid. Mighty Creation (11) has been seen at the trials once for a win and should not be dismissed either.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 3: Class 4 - 1200m (Course D SC)

There was a lot to like about the win of Winontop (2) last time over the highly touted Ip Man. He showed great fight when tackled and although up in weight he should make a bold bid. Thrilla In Manila (5) has been a model of consistency and has performed solidly at this trip previously while Attorney General (6) showed great heart to land the money last time and although taking on the older horses he must be respected. Black Jack (4) is coming off a break but he didn't have a lot of luck through his last campaign and is worth considering.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 4: Maiden - 1100m (Polytrack)

Not a strong long up. Ace Adalid (4) has had a change of stable since he last raced. Good run two starts back before finishing just behind the placings last time. This is not strong and he should run well. Give Way (1) ran an improved race last time and may be able to carry on the good work here while Aniwa (8) made good ground last time in a handy line-up and must not be dismissed. Tormenta (12) has placed just once in 12 starts to date but has found a moderate line-up here and could sneak a place.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 5: Class 2 - 1200m (Course D SC)

It's pretty hard to go past Super Easy (8). Takes on the older more seasoned sprinters here but he has gone about his work in good style to date. Winner on turf in New Zealand and can keep the good work going here. Squall Line (5) is resuming. He has been trialling well in recent weeks and looks up to this task while Amadeus Mozart (2) has been racing consistently of late in stronger company and must be considered here. Moonlite Shower (4) has won three of his past five and showed a lot of courage in getting the money last time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 6: Class 5 - 1400m (Course D SC)

Not a strong line-up. Sir Rumble (8) could be an improver here. He's been freshened and has the blinkers going back on here. He should run well. Dolce Vita (11) is still a maiden but has found a fairly weak race while Takeshi (10) has been close-up in his recent assignments and should be thereabouts again. Zinly (4) hasn't done a lot in his recent hitouts since coming back from Class 4 grade but the extra distance this time suits and he's worth considering.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 7: Kranji Stks C - 1700m (Polytrack)

Giving Iluminado (3) another chance. His recent efforts have been consistent in similar company to this and back to the 1700m journey suits. Stablemate Lockdown (7) has been thereabouts in recent assignments and should appreciate the rise in distance while Monterey (4) hasn't been too far away of late in similar grade and should again make his presence felt. Quinta De Lago (6) was strong in landing the money last time and can keep the good work going again here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 8: Class 5 - 1400m (Course D SC)

Yet another tricky affair. Viper Man (4) ran an improved race last time and looks about ready to win. He ran on OK over a shorter trip last time and getting back on the turf over the longer trip here is a plus. Wonder General (3) made good ground last time and with the stronger rider going on board here must be considered while Shuttle Express (7) is coming off a freshen up and must not be dismissed. Al Nader (5) has been a long time out of the winner's circle, but the rise in distance here is a plus and he deserves thought.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 9: Class 3 - 1200m (Course D SC)

An even line-up to do battle here. Giving Abeyant (4) another chance. Possibly wasn't suited coming back to the 1000m journey last time after two good efforts back from a break on the turf. He's fit and well and looks well drawn. Marcusino (6) broke through in good fashion last time and can keep the good work going despite the class rise while Aradea (3) showed great fight to share the prize last time and must not be dismissed. Raging Storm (7) chased gamely behind a smart performer last time and from a middle draw shouldn't be too far away in the run.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RACE 10: Class 4 - 1200m (Course D SC)

Lightly-raced El Milagro (2) has impressed with his two starts to date and can keep the ball rolling here. Tzar (3) returned to form with a strong all-the-way win last time and looks up to the test here while Beat To Quarters (6) is coming off a freshen but is promising and well worth following. Wojcinski (1) has been freshened since his latest impressive victory and despite the weight should not be discounted.
