CHARM'S HONOUR (Greg Bennett) - Smart country trained filly built a good record last season and will definitely improve on her first-up third at Randwick last Saturday when finishing a close third without the best of luck from her rails draw. She will find plenty of races to suit over the summer months.

PARABLES (Peter Snowden) - Should have walked in at Flemington on Cup day but was stuck behind a wall of horses until the race was over. Ready to win and hard to hold out in anything. Whether that is this weekend or into the future.

ROCKPECKER (Ken Fythe) - In acknowledging it isn't the greatest making an 8yo a horse to watch, having had eight runs this prep already, the old boy ran a cracker in the last on the last day of the carnival. There might be a mile race in coming weeks in metro company that suits him to win if this weekend doesn't.

DRIEFONTEIN (Gai Waterhouse) - Was very impressive winning on debut when absolutely pulverised in the ring. The Fastnet Rocks have had a great Spring and after a break she might end up a nice contender in better juvenile races.

DIDNTCOSTALOT (Marc Conners) - Won nicely midweek at Warwick Farm. Is unbeaten from Wyong to Gosford to town now. Likes to lead and there might be a Saturday race, especially on a leaderish Rosehill, for him soon. 1200m would be as far as he likes but is a real little runner on wet going.

RON'S CALL (Simon Miller) - Looked fantastic in winning the Fairetha Stks at Ascot last week. Magic Albert the sire had a great day and this bloke might well give him more group success if he keeps putting margins on rivals with his turn of foot.
