Impulse Buy will step out in the first on the programme at Morphettville Parks on Saturday full of confidence after grabbing a last start win in open company at Moonee Valley.

That effort rates well in this small field and his recent form has been very good in both Adelaide and Melbourne, making him the banker for the day.

Jockey Amy Herrmann who has ridden the four-year-old gelding to two previous victories goes back on board today and from the good draw will get a good run off the pace.

Impulse Buy recent form rates very well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and has a very good record over the 1000m.

In a field of only 6, the $2.50 on offer looks a good way to kick off the day and expecting him to be too good for these.

Later in the day the Mick Price-trained Fast And Free will resume from a spell in what appears to be a very winnable task.

The five-year-old gelding, has finished in the money all three previous first up efforts, winning two of those and his best form rates well in this on weight adjusted Timeform ratings.

Fast And Free had had just the one start at the track which yielded a win and he goes very well over the 1400m.

The in form Dom Tourneur goes on board and from barrier 8 should settle up on the speed and prove very hard to hold out.

Thomason will step out a very short favourite in the Adelaide Galvanising Benchmark 72 handicap and despite resuming with a win last start he looks very short at $2.80.

The three-year0old gelding is unplaced from two runs at the course and his only win, which came last start was on a slow track.

Despite it being a small field there appears to be plenty of chances in the race and at his current price looks the lay of the day.
