Chris Scholtz - Early Thoughts

R&S Contributing Editor Chris Scholtz takes a look at tomorrow’s Sydney racing.

SELECTIONS

Randwick Race 3 - 5 More Than Fabulous

Has improved in each of his four starts since resuming resulting with his last start win over 1900m at Canterbury when he relished the soft ground to score with a lot of authority under 58kg.

Relishes the affected winter tracks and looks ideally placed to continue his upward spiral with the benefit of a 3kg claim for promising apprentice Andrew Adkins reducing his weight to a handy 55.5kg.

Randwick Race 8 - 9 Lycia

Made an impression with a sharp turn of foot to put away a midweek field over this trip at Warwick Farm on June 29 after an excellent Canterbury placing.

That was only her second run off a spell and a strong indication that she has comeback in the right form to progress to through the grades. Another good ride for Andrew Atkins as she comes in nicely at the weights after his 3kg claim.
