Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Wellington, Taree, Geelong, Townsville and Geraldton.

WELLINGTON: RACE 3 @ 3:05 PM

KUROSHINZO (5) is bursting to win a race with two seconds from his last four and this looks a suitable task. He has had a few chances but went down fighting last week at Warren and is hard to beat here. RICH STREET (9) is another who has had his share of chances but racing well of late and ran on as favourite into fourth at Orange last time. In the mix. PLATINUM WARRIOR (6) was a bit disappointing after leading last start but previous effort was sound and he's worth another chance. INFINITE PRINCE (4) and DIAMOND SUN (1) have place claims.
SELECTIONS: Kuroshinzo to win.

TAREE: RACE 5 @ 4:05 PM

TANGLEWOOD JIMMY (2) promising locally trained gelding who will relish the drop in grade. Drifted back from the wide draw when a slashing long neck fourth in Highway company at Randwick over 1600m last time out. Ready to win again from the good gate. Goes close. YAREAKH (5) trained on the track and will find this more to his liking after plugging home late when eighth at Rosehill in Highway grade on November 2. Placed this track and trip and looks well in with the claim from the good gate. CHEEKY NUGGET (9) tough gelding retaining his zest for racing. Not that far away again when third over 1750m at Muswellbrook on November 5. Drops in weight with the 3kg claim and has solid top four prospects. CASINO BEAR (6) is racing well and can feature again.
SELECTIONS: Tanglewood Jimmy to win.

GEELONG: RACE 7 @ 4:25 PM

DELTA SKY (9) resumed with an encouraging run at Kilmore, running on strongly to grab fourth in a bunched finish. She'll be fitter for that and drops slightly in class. Can take this out. NIGHT ERUPTION (11) has been good in two runs back, beaten under a length in this grade at Traralgon last time off a good effort at Bairnsdale. She doesn't win many but is in the each way mix here. QUEEN BEIRA (8) has been around the mark of late without winning and should find this a touch easier. Can break through. TIZSO FAB (1) has each way claims on best figures.
SELECTIONS: Delta Sky on top.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 1 @ 1:05 PM

The babies kick us off. GOLD CLASSIC (3) broke the maiden status by the narrowest of margins over this track and trip on debut and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Meets a few similar gallopers here and winning hoop Murphy sticks in the saddle. Can go back-to-back to start the career. SATISFIED MUGS (1) finished third in that same race when heavily supported in the betting. Where there's smoke there's fire and can feature with natural improvement. ROYAL PROPHECY (6) is another to come out of that race when just missing the placings in fourth. Draws the inside alley and can play a role in the outcome. CASCIA (5) will be better for that first time at the races and gets Wiggins on top. In the mix. BANG STICK (2) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and a watch on betting is advised.
SELECTIONS: Gold Classic to win again.

GERALDTON: RACE 5 @ 3:50 PM

A LOT OF CLASS (4) was far too good over this course and distance last time out, bolting in by 2.6L at his first try over the mile. He was favourite there and this looks to set up similarly for him today. Has plenty of upside and can repeat the dose today. KING MAHUTA (2) stormed over the top to break his maiden at Northam last time out and did so in good time. He mightn't be as far back today from a nice alley, and CJP remains in the saddle. Key player if he can replicate that effort. DAIYAMONDO (5) disappointed a little here 24 days ago when a 3-1 chance over this course and distance. Her previous effort was better than that and the form out of that last start has stacked up well. Anticipating that she can bounce back. ALMAYA (3) is racing well this time in and has claims from a nice gate. GONDRINKIN (10) will find this slightly easier and should be doing his best work late.
SELECTIONS: Siding with A Lot Of Class.
