Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Scone, Rockhampton and Bairnsdale.

SCONE: RACE 5 @ 3:40 PM

QUEEN OF A HAND (14) set to peak third up in this easier contest after holding on well when fourth over 1100m at Wyong on October 31. Extra trip suits from the inside gate and expected to take a hand in the finish. FLOODGATES (7) six start maiden who was three weeks between runs when a plodding sixth over 1100m at Wyong last time out. Distance suits and look for her doing her best work late. PARUNA (9) improving mare fitter after one run back when a tough on pace second over 1000m at Muswellbrook on November 5. Has upside and a repeat of latest will see her go close. CHURCHILL'S CHOICE (13) three-year-old filly by Churchill from She's Choice on debut for the Nathan Doyle stable. Has shown ability in all three trials and expected to perform strongly.
SELECTIONS: Queen Of A Hand to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 5 @ 5:15 PM

SNAZZY SNITZEL (7) won here fresh up last prep and then had to be put aside after suffering an injury in his next run at Mackay. His issues will be behind him and he has enough pace to lead this field from his handy gate. He will be hard to peg back. ALLOCATE (2) was a last-start picnic winner at Bundaberg and Gary Clem has this gelding firing now after some moderate efforts since making the move from Victoria. 1100m is as far as he wants but he is in a good space now and can figure in the finish again. LETS DANCE JANDY (1) has won his last couple of starts at Dalby in picnic company and has led all the way on both of those occasions. A 3kg claim will help and he did win his only start on this track over 1100m. A hat-trick is not beyond him. CUMIN SPINNER (11) made good progress last season and will be even stronger this prep. She has a recent trial under her belt and from the ace draw, she will be ready to run a big race fresh up.
SELECTIONS: Snazzy Snitzel to win.

BAIRNSDALE: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM

Hayes-trained UNIVERSAL HARMONY (5) was a late scratching on 24 September but was kept up to the mark with a trial win before finding one better at Mornington. He's back on track and is still well-shy of his peaks. Fitter can go one better. VILLA ROYALE (13) found a place here and then got closer again at Yarra Valley. He will appreciate the longer sprint and has more to give as well. She's capable of sitting closer. REBILLYOUS (2) spiked his figures when beaten a whisker at Traralgon second-up. He maps for the run of the race and deserves each-way consideration. SARA PERCHE TIAMO (12) is third-up and still shy of his best. The longer sprint suits.
SELECTIONS: Backing Universal Harmony.
