Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for September 19.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Kempsey, Cranbourne and Ipswich.
KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 7 @ 5:25 PM
COLOURS OF AUTUMN (3) underrated mare to starting to hit her straps. Created a big impression at the latest when a commanding 3.5 len winner over 1350m at Newcastle on September 3. Waddick rides again with the claim, and she will relish the extra ground. FOOLISH (12) nice win two back before getting out late when sixth over 1350m at Wyong on September 1. Can race a little closer and not without top three claims. CREAM RISES (7) trained on the track and looks close to his top. Went out hard before fading late when sixth over 1400m at Hawkesbury on September 7. Will go forward again from the low gate and prove hard to run down. CHEVAL SAVANT (1) staying type resuming from a five-and-a-half-month break. Has the one trial in readiness for this and watch for him late.
SELECTIONS: Colours Of Autumn to win.

KEMPSEY: RACE 3 @ 2:40 PM
EXCEEDAQA (8) has been thereabouts in her two runs back. Should be peaking now in what looks like her easiest assignment to date. Leading player. HOO HAA (5) gave backers a bold sight last start at Wyong, only to be captured on the line. Easier this time and will prove tough to catch with similar tactics applied. MAGIC SORCERER (1) was poised to strike when resuming at Tamworth but just lacked a fitness edge. Better for the hit-out and is drawn to get the gun run. Can give this a big shake. SLEEPY'S GIRL (9) is a Headwater filly on debut for the Deamer stable. Strips fitter for a quiet Scone trial and is nicely drawn. Worth watching what the market does with her.
SELECTIONS: Exceedaqa to win.
CRANBOURNE: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM
FOIX (2) should be winning this. He's only had three runs to date, improving nicely last time out at this track and trip when beaten half a length into second. This race lacks any depth and he's the one with upside. Go close. SHADEELAA (14) wasn't beaten far at Geelong last time out having contested a handy race at Flemington prior. Some query at this trip but he can certainly challenge. MARAMA (9) is lightly raced with four starts to her name, doing well to place here last time out behind Foix. Has a few lengths to make but is in the mix. PENDING LIST (5) could be an improver from a soft draw. LARABELLE (8) may be next best.
SELECTIONS: Foix to win.
IPSWICH: RACE 1 @ 12:37 PM
Waller-trained AUTORA (2) is third-up and ready to show her best. She went close twice at Doomben this trip last campaign and that form makes good reading. The premier hoop rides for the first time and that's a decent push for her chances. RESURRECTED (1) was knocking on the door in NSW before the switch north by the Neasham-Archibald yard. He ran along at Doomben and faded (Orman rode), and pulled up with an issue at the Sunshine Coast following. He can use the rail and his best efforts would see him right in the finish in the finish. Sharp improvement is anticipated. YOU KAY SQUEEZE (4) is third up with more to offer. She will give away a start but is suited over the longer journey. LADY BOSSA NOVA (10) was on speed and found one better at Toowoomba. Maps well and has a 1.5kg claim. She will be around the mark.
SELECTIONS: Backing Autora to win.
