Corporates Flock To Secure Randwick Suites

3 minute read

The Australian Turf Club has been inundated with expressions of interest for the luxurious corporate suites in the new Royal Randwick grandstand.

The ATC has had to create a waiting list after the initial expressions of interest closed for the 24 prized suites on Levels Two and Four of the $150m development.

The final list of the 24 suite holders, who will sign up to 3 year agreements, will be finalised over the next three weeks.

In addition over half the tables in the newly created Chairman's Club, dubbed the “ultimate Royal Randwick experience” have been sold having been on the market for only five weeks.

ATC Chairman John Cornish said he was thrilled with the interest the most prized racecourse spaces had generated.

“There is an extremely high level of enthusiasm from both industry and corporate stakeholders to be part of the new Royal Randwick development,” Mr Cornish said.

“Considering these prime luxurious spaces have only been on the market for a short time it is clear they will not be available for long.

“I urge anybody hoping to secure a position at the top end of the race day hospitality experience to move fast to avoid disappointment”.

The Corporate Suites are offered in the choice of premium, classic or bespoke fit-outs and functional modes from dining, cocktail and lounge. They are private and exclusive and boast spectacular views, private LED screens and the latest touch screen betting technology.

The Chairman's Club is the ultimate racing experience and is on Level One of the new grandstand above the winning post. There are 50 tables of six or eight available on an annual basis and the package includes:

· Access to the Chairman's Club for 28 race days with use of fully transferable passes

· Access to grandstand seating and outdoor terrace

· Complimentary Wi-Fi access, business facilities and boardroom

· Transferable VIP car parking passes

· Full table service providing a seasonally inspired table d'hote menu

Mr Cornish said the prime spaces now on sale represented a new standard in corporate hospitality.

“These spaces have been benchmarked with the best in Australia and the best racecourses in the world. They represent a new level of corporate entertaining at one of the country's most iconic sites,” Mr Cornish said.

“We have clearly read the market well and are providing what our stakeholders are after.”
