Impulse Buy looks well placed to continue his good form when he lines up in the Perks Accountants Benchmark 90 Handicap (1050n) at Morphettville on Saturday.

We had the now four-year-old gelding as our banker at Morphettville Parks just two weeks back and she did not disappoint on that occasion.

Caught behind runners rounding the turn, Impulse Buy looked to be in a bit of trouble but once he got out proved too good, winning by a narrow margin but should have won by a much bigger margin.

The Gordon Richards-trained runner has drawn well once again in barrier 3 and on recent form rates clear of these on weight adjusted Timeform ratings.

Expecting him to get the job done once again and even thought he is shorter this week, at $2.10 looks the banker for the day.

The only race over the obstacles on the card will be run on the Morphettville Parks course and we have found one at good each way odds.

Jooli Lad, who is currently $9 has a good record over the obstacles and comes into this off a last start second placing at Sandown on a heavy track.

Meets a solid field in this but has been jumping well in recent times and would be surprised to not see him in the placings at least.

Generally races not too far away and looks a good value bet for the day.

Later in the program Lionhearted Girl will be sent out a short priced favourite after running fourth at Morphettville Parks last start.

Her form prior was much better but got the run of the race last start and was unable to finish it of, weakening over the final 100m

Sandhill Chief beat her home on that occasion and meets her better at the weights by 1kg.

The step up to the mile is also likely to suit Sandhill Chief better with Spartan Eagle also coming off four wins at Darwin, the last two over the mile, making the $2.70 for Lionhearted Girl very short.
