Exodus proved too strong in similar company last start and is well placed to continue his winning form when lining up at Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

The Phillip Stokes-trained runner was slow away and unable to make up ground when resuming at Morphettville before a solid all the way win over this C/D last start.

His recent form rates very well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and from barrier nine expecting him to push forward and settle up on the speed once again.

Exodus goes up only 0.5kg on his last start run but apprentice jockey Jamie Kah goes on for the first time and will claim 1.5kg, carrying only 57kgs in this.

Currently at $2.30, Exodus looks well placed to win again here with Mermaid Run and Cosmic Kheleyf among the main danger.

Later in the day Natural Disaster backs up quickly into the Alf Gard Memorial Cup (78) 1000m on the back of two third placings.

The five-year-old mare who rates clear on weight adjusted Timeform ratings was only narrowly beaten by Raks Mclaren last start and despit going up in the weights gets a much needed 3kg claim from apprentice jockey.

The Alex Stra-trained runner races well over the trip and from barrier four she is likely to not be far away in the run.

Natural Disaster’s current odds of $5.50 looks pretty good with the current favourite Stravinsky Code coming off a last start win in slightly easier company.

The six-year-old gelding is likely to be in the finish again but with not much between them, Natural Disaster certainly looks the pick.

The opening race on the program looks a very open affair and despite not having a great deal of form to go off would be inclined to take on the favourite Bonita Ice.

The debutante, currently at $2.50 narrowly won a recent trial but comes up against a couple with race experience in good form.

Akhlaaq is back in class after running 7th in Group 3 company and is likely to find this a much easier task.

Our Cavalia also has been good in both career outings and Bonita Ice only narrolwty beaten Innovative Jill in a recent trial.
