ROSEHILL SATURDAY

RACE 3: (3) ALL CERISE: Impressive Redoute’s Choice filly started off her campaign at Canterbury on January 15 in great style when she sat behind the field before rounding up a maiden field with a real show of class for a soft win over 1250m, running excellent time for the class. She’s obviously come on with her lengthy spell after her first three starts last year and while she jumps from the easier midweek grade into a handy BM 72 field she should find 1400m on her home track an ideal second up assignment.

RACE 7 (6) JUNOOB: This good looking Import is yet to win in Australia for Chris Waller but all the signs that his time has come were there last Saturday at Randwick when he motored to the line late for a close second over 1800m at just his second run since resuming. Well placed under these conditions as a five time winner in the UK up to 2400m and certain to respond to a 1.5kg weight drop and big riding switch from an apprentice to Nash Rawiller against a moderate field.

RACE 8 (8) SPECIFIC CHOICE: Has been very costly in all four starts since he resumed in November but fair to say all has not gone to plan through his preparation. This is certainly a winnable race for him after he closed gamely to be narrowly beaten over 1400m at Randwick on January 18 when having his first start for seven weeks, beating the others easily. Can only be fitter for that run, races best on his home track and expect Hugh Bowman to give him the run of the race from his good draw. No excuses this time.
