Quick Snitzel has failed to win a race in over a year now but gets his chance when stepping out at Morphettville on Saturday.
I am generally very weary of horses who has not won in a while but he Is relatively lightly raced and has good form in tougher company of late.
The Peter Moody-trained runner has been solid in all five runs this campaign and is likely to find this race an easier task to what he has been running in.
The four-year-old gelding rates very well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and from the inside draw will get a good run off the pace.
Quick Snitzel has a very good record over the mile and with Stella Lante and Danish Spy the main dangers he won’t get much of a better chance than this.
Hotel Sierra has a very good career record having finished in the placings all nine career outings and comes into this off a last start win at Moonee Valley.
Rates clear on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and from three runs over the 1100m she has won two and placed on the other occasion.
The Darren Weir-trained runner will not be far away in run from barrier 5 and the stable is flying of late.
The current price of $4 looks very good and she looks well placed to continue on her winning form today.
Burnro was only moderate when resuming here last start but should appreciate the step up to 1200m today.
Ran in much tougher than this last campaign but takes on a very competitive field today.
Will no doubt be somewhere in the mix but generally takes a few runs to find his feet and needs to show a lot more than he did when resuming last start.
