A handful of promising three-year-olds are the highlight on Bletchingly Stakes Day at Caulfield.

Sino Eagle is a mare on an upward curve Picture: Racing and Sports

One of those is the Bletchingly favourite Lord Of The Sky who will be out to follow-up in Monash Stakes romp over the Caulfield 1200m.

There’s no spoil about the price, though, with $1.55 the current quote, but if you snagged some of the $1.80 earlier in the week you look to have shopped well.

Word Of Mouth missed landing us a decent gamble last time when left with plenty to do from a wide draw but he looks ideally placed to repay those who keep the faith this week.

Back from a handicap to set-weights plays right into his hands, as does the kinder draw, and he would only have to hold his form to be left a very likely winner here.

The 2/1 kicking about is well over the evens we have him marked and should be snaffled up.

Race four looks a race in two with very little between Sydneysider Kristy Lee and the returning Sino Eagle on form.

Ratings and profiles leave these two with a good edge on the rest of a field largely made up of well exposed mares and they are tipped to fight it out.

Sino Eagle has to concede race-fitness to Kristy Lee but she does have more upside and at the current odds she’s the play.

Last week the winning run came to an end with Éclair Samba narrowly denied by the Darren Weir juggernaut at Flemington.

Might be time to start adding a length for the “Weir Factor”.
