The Daniel O'Connor trained Reef Keeper won well first up and appears capable of taking that next step at Belmont on Saturday.

Due to contest the final event, the son of Vital Equine proved too good leading throughout last start and remains open to further improvement racing second up.

Pike appeared a key booking fresh and the fact he remains aboard is another push for his chances.

Only lightly raced, Reef Keeper has displayed above average ability and while likely better over further, the decision to remain at a mile shouldn't be a concern.

From the wide draw he is expected to press forward with Goldbo and Sonnen also likely to adopt prominent positions.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, he is well placed and given he can take another step forward, he should prove hard to beat.

Concede favourite Taxagano sets a decent standard, however willing to take him on back onto firmer footing.

With close to 4-1 being offered about Reef Keeper's chances, happy to stick with him and trust in the Wizard to boot him home.

The Darren McAuliffe trained Rebellionaire steps up in grade, but is progressive and should prove very hard to beat in the second event.

Rebellionaire easily justified his odds-on quote last start and gives the impression he will relish the step up in trip.

Pike sticks aboard and he looks to get a charmed run in transit from the inside draw.

ConcedeDebellatio is the class runner, however felt he was fairly plain first up and may still be in need of the run.
