Prince Alexander Hard To Beat At Kranji

3 minute read

Prince Alexander will look to continue his strong recent form when he lines up in the Class 4 Non Premier (1200m) at Kranji tonight.

The David Hill-trained runner won two starts back over this C/D before running a very close second behind Master Of Malibu last time out in similar company to this.

Has drawn nicely in barrier 4 and may well settle a touch closer than he did last start but there should be enough speed on up front to run on in the straight.

Vlad Duric takes the ride today and Prince Alexander also appreciates the polytrack surface where he has done most his racing.

The five-year-old gelding is fairly lightly raced and if he runs up to his recent form than you would expect him to be very hard to hold out today.

Everybody Happy has not drawn the best out wide but returns off some decent form last campaign and his only win and placing have come when first up previously.

The Steven Burridge-trained runner has trialled twice leading into this winning his most recent over 1000m and with just the five starts to his name you would expect has improvement to come.

Rates well against his rivals today on best form and with even luck from the draw expect him to be right in the mix provided he handles the Polytrack for the first time.

The former Australian galloper did win on a synthetic track at Pakenham which indicates he could well handle the surface.

Howl has been building nicely this campaign and was just out of the placings when fourth over 1100m this course last start.

Should get a nice run up on the speed from barrier 5 today and his last start effort suggests he may well relish the step up to 1200m where he has done his best racing.

Relatively lightly raced with just the eight starts to his name and would not be surprised to see him making his way into the finish.

Dusseldorf has been going btter than his recent form suggests and he drops back to the 1200m for this off a fair effort over the mile last time out.

Probably better set up on the turf but his best form rates well against his rivals today and he can make his way into the placings.

Good luck!
