Adelaide Cup day on Monday so the Saturday card is on the Parks circuit.
Against a whole lot of horses who are struggling to win, happy to stay with Rockarral who chases three on the bounce.
The gelding by High Chaparral is bred to want every bit of the mile and the half and showed that as much last outing.
He sat back in a small field at Sandown and came with a late run to score.
Importantly he won at this very track a month ago and is getting in lighter here than in those two victories.
There appears a whole lot of jumpers in this race getting ready for the upcoming season and even if he’s one of them, at least he’s a winning one.
Later on In Heart's Wake runs in the 1000m scamper and can give Tony McEvoy a lovely day at the track.
She’s only had six runs but came good last campaign with two wins. However she was running into Tequila Time this time last year which stacks up well as that horse would subsequently defeat Fundamentalist twice at G3 level.
The Duporth filly has a win at this venue and comes into this off a trial win at Gawler.
Hoping she can take up a position carrying no weight against the older horses here.
