Last-start winner Namazu is a gelding in form and looks nicely placed to score again when he lines up at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
The O'Dea/Hoysted-trained five-year-old has rated well in his two starts since a spell, running on to place fresh in the Sunshine Coast Cup before at win over a mile at this course last start.
That was jockey Ben Thompson's first ride on him and he sticks.
Namazu is a two-time third-up winner so should still be on the up and further improvement would see him hard stop.
The last race of the day is a bit of lottery with a big field lining up but Rock Amore does look to offer decent each way value.
Tony Gollan's gelding has already won twice this campaign and his last-start second in this grade suggests he is holding his form well.
He does have to overcome a wide draw but his course and distance statistics suggest he can be in the finish.
