Midweek racing from Caulfield and Warwick Farm and we've got a horse to follow from each meeting.
Caulfield Race 7 - Nadal
Lovely win from this talented four-year-old, given a great ride by Ethan Brown to slice through the pack and win very softly. On the RAS ratings, he's run to a new peak here of 110, up from 108 when third to Cylinder at Group 2 level. The time here looks strong and he looks progressive enough to keep going through the grades with these sorts of ratings, which are going to be competitive in at least open Saturday sorts of races.
Warwick Farm Race 7 - Tavi Time
Strong win second up under a peach of a ride from James McDonald from barrier one, peeling off heels in the straight and coming clear to win well. This is close to a new career peak for Tavi Time and he looks right on track to run a new peak in the Big Dance. The ratings he's running are right there with the two winners of the Big Dance so far and if he can improve slightly again, he'll go in as a genuine chance.
