Angel Of Mercy was a comfortable short-price winner at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Angel Of Mercy was eased to second last from barrier four, about six lengths away from Lady Echelon.
She travelled strongly into the race from the 600m but was cluttered up looking for runs when turning for home. She angled into the clear at the 300m and quickly picked up the leaders to draw away to score arrogantly under hands and heels riding. A class above her rivals.
Lady Echelon enjoyed a nice run in the race on the lead. She battled on strongly in the straight but just found the winner a little too good. A sound effort in defeat.
