Big Money took out the Ramornie Handicap at Grafton under a cool ride by Robert Thompson.
The favourite Big Money began well from his inside barrier (1) and was eased to settle seventh on the rails, following a good pace.
He remained there to the 600m and then Robert Thompson skilfully eased him between horses at the turn and switched him wider into clear running on straightening.
He took the lead passing the 100m and went on to score well by three quarters of a length.
This highly consistent performer looks set to progress to even better things.
Rocky King had to work in the early stages from his barrier (9) before getting to the front approaching the 800m.
He was clear at the 200m and was only overhauled in the latter stages for a good second after his early efforts.
Territory was ridden patiently as usual and he settled last in the 12-horse field.
He was giving the leader about eight lengths as he fanned deep nearing the home turn and went to the centre of the track on straightening. He then continued to make ground for a sound third, beaten two lengths.
Hidden Warrior was fifth one off the rails, switched out rounding the home turn and kept battling on under his top weight (59kg) to finish an honest (3.1 lengths) fourth.
