Proceedwithcaution wins 2015 York Stakes Listed $100,000 at Ascot (WA) 3yo+, 1600m.
The favourite Proceedwithcaution began well and soon took the lead. He then settled well and travelling along at a very steady tempo (first 1000m 63.15). He grabbed a break at the 200m and went on to win quite comfortably by just under a length.
Tower Of Lonhro was second last on the rails in the small seven-horse field. He got between runners at the 200m, challenged nearing the 100m and fought on in the sprint home for a good second.
Carry The Nation raced in third place on the rails, went through to second at the 200m and fought on quite well for third, after seeming to have every chance.
