Neverland wins 2015 Carbine Club Of W.A. Stakes Listed $100,000 at Ascot (WA) 4yo+, 1400m.
Neverland took her record to six wins from eight starts in putting up another good effort in scoring here. She began well from her inside barrier (1) and travelled nicely in third place on the rails. She was held up for clear running on straightening, William Pike then steered her along the rails and she hit the front at the 200m before going on to win comfortably.
Sireeze raced in seventh place, between runners, moved up well (deep) rounding the home turn and put in a good run, going to fourth at the 200m and kept finishing well for a good second with his top weight (57.5kg).
Halo Express raced outside the leader (Resonates), briefly got to the front on straightening and then fought back to just hold third in a photo.
