Didntcostalot wins 2015 George Moore Stakes Group 3 $200,000 at Doomben (QLD), 1200m.
Leading trainer Tony Gollan produced all three placegetters in this Group Three race. The speedy Didntcostalot began brilliantly and went immediately to the front. He then ran along at fast pace (first 600m 34.50, turned for home with a clear advantage and went on to score easily, and in fast time (1:08.17) in a very smart front-running performance.
Gundy Spirit settled back in sixth place on the rails, got through to third shortly after straightening and battled well for second, having no chance with the winner.
Fontelina had a nice trip in seventh place, one off the rails, behind a strong tempo. He went deep on entering the straight and made ground to take the minor placing.
Top Tone was third on the rails from his good barrier (2), was a distant second on turning for home and held on for fourth, beaten six lengths.
