Ideal Image wins 2015 Jungle Dawn Classic Listed $100,000 at Ascot (WA) 3yo+Fillies & Mares, 1400m.
Ideal Image enjoyed a perfect trip from her inside barrier (1) racing comfortably behind the leader (Cool Trade). She moved up well on turning for home, got to the front at the 100m and finished a bit too well to score with something in hand.
Cool Trade went to the front, set an average tempo in the Soft7 conditions (first 800m 51.36). She got a break on straightening and fought well for second, just finding the winner a bit too good.
Vital Importance went back from her outside barrier (9) and raced just beyond midfield, wide with cover. She went deep on straightening and ran on, getting up just in time to take the minor placing.
